Alex is a warm hearted teacher of movement and partner acrobatics. Over the past 5 years, he has gone through a multitude of different training styles, experimenting and learning how to make sustainable progress in movement while still enjoying every moment of it. He found a passion for motivating others to take control of their health and wellness by eating healthy and taking on an at-home daily workout regiment initially as a Beachbody coach. Practicing high intensity interval training as well as calisthenics and weight training, he felt the need to balance his energy and retain his mobility. His journey led him to the vegan lifestyle as well as Ashtanga yoga. As a certified Ashtanga teacher he then decided to take his solo practices to a place of playfulness and community. What better way than diving into the world of Partner Acrobatics! He has been an acro monkey enthusiast from the first workshop he took flight in. Alex shares his love for acro with anyone who will jump on his feet or allow him to jump on theirs!
Alex also comes from a music and artistic background as well. Playing/teaching guitar and drums for the past decade, he has learned how to break things down to allow anyone to learn the skills needed to perform. These are the tools as a movement and acro teacher he loves to bring to the table. Taking a real interest in his students and meeting them where they are to bring them up in a safe and playful style.
Jessy received her 200hr Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher certification in 2013 through the guidance of Meg Galarza of Yoga One Studio in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Jessy is also a Licensed Massage Therapist with a passion for holistic healing. Her hobbies include adding stamps to her passport, outdoor adventures, holistic health and wellness, plant based nutrition and riding her bicycle. Jessy’s goal as a yoga instructor is to create a safe, judgement free atmosphere for her students. She loves to witness people leave her class feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and calm. Expect to challenge yourself and experience breath with movement. Modifications will be offered to suit all levels of experience. Come explore your practice!
KT’s calling card is her desire to create a safe-haven of Yoga for students, that is upscale and accessible by all who wish to dive into the ancient practice of Yoga. Promoting a sense of community amongst students and teachers alike, while finding magic in the practice. KT is 200 HR certified through YogaWorks and Yoga Alliance registered, along side continuous Yoga education and annual certification in CPR, AED and Adult First-Aid. This has been framed and shown in her teachings, that is now approaching a decade. After starting Yoga at an early age she found a love for teaching soon after. KT has taught many classes in various cities around the U.S. while just recently teaching in Los Angeles, CA. She chose New Orleans since it has been the treasure of her heart and is happy to call The Crescent City home.
Having never been an athletic gal, I started practicing yoga as a way to release stress while in law school. From the sense of peace I got after the very first class, to the increase in energy I felt within the first few weeks, I was instantly hooked and ready to make it a major part of my life. Many of the initial changes were physical but the most profound took a little time and came from within. Before I knew it, yoga gave me the courage to abandon a lifestyle that was not fit for me, and the confidence to follow my heart.
My approach for teaching yoga is dynamic. Being an acro-yoga practitioner and a lover of yoga of all kinds, each class is unique and creative but always safe and anatomically inclined. My main goal is for students to have fun, get out of their head, enjoy the music, and move their bodies in ways that feel natural and unrestricted.
Yoga has changed my life in so many positive ways; I can’t help but feel an overwhelming amount of love and respect for this practice. It is my absolute joy and pleasure to be able to share it with others and help transform the lives of those who connect with my flows.
Gaye began practicing yoga to relieve stress and anxiety, and was deeply moved by the healing benefits of this powerful. She loved how she felt after yoga; strong, flexible, confident, and compassionate towards herself and others. After practicing for several years she decided to share her love of yoga with the New Orleans community. She trained at the Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja Mexico, and received her 200 RYT certification. She believes that yoga will meet you where you are, and is for everyone regardless of fitness level or age. Her goal as a teacher is to leave students with the same peace and healing that yoga brings to her each time she practices.
Karianne is a Louisiana native who first fell in love with yoga for the calm and clarity it brought into her life. She received her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification at the Yandara Yoga Institute in Hawaii in 2016 while on a 10-month journey around the world. During those travels, she also studied hatha yoga and meditation while living in a yoga ashram in Rishikesh, India. She believes that the practice of yoga can help people love and know themselves more fully and is enthusiastic to share the transformative properties of yoga as source of physical, mental, and spiritual healing with the community. Karianne loves learning new perspectives from all types of people, and she also enjoys hiking, quilting, and curling up with a good book.
After surviving a 2 week coma and spending the summer in a wheelchair, Leslie had to reevaluate what it meant to be an active teenager. Thankfully she was introduced to Yoga as a college freshman in NYC and from then on she embraced different types of yoga to find the one best suited her mind & body. Finally, Leslie fell in love with the “Yoga Works for everyone” mentality of NYC’s Yoga Works, Inc and she earned her 200 Hr YTT through their intensive training program.
Since then, Leslie has been helping people of different backgrounds with a variety of abilities discover their own yoga. Having just moved to NOLA, Leslie loves meeting other yogis and learning about their journey through yoga. When she isn’t exploring on her mat, Leslie can be found playing with her pup, Sebastien, scuba diving on the gulf coast, or CHEESING it on one of NOLA’s tourist attractions (HELLO Swamp tours!). Leslie teaches with an open mind and a happy heart.

Passionately practicing and celebrating the benefits of Yoga for over two decades one breath at a time. Playfully merging her background in arts and movement with her holistic career path of a Hospice & Palliative Nurse Julie empowers all ages, stages and sizes of people by integrating Yoga as a way of life. Studying in Rishikesh, India, Tibet and several other countries as well as in the states with Shiva Rae, Sharon Gannon & David Life. Embracing her Roots in Vinyasa, Ayurvedic Tantric, and Nidra while integrating mindfulness and meditation, she crafts a practice that is restorative yet invigorating. Certified in Aromatherapy, Healing Touch, Mindfulness and Meditation-endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA). Certified by the Yoga Alliance and since 2014 serves on the Alliance Education Committee. When not teaching Yoga, Julie is dancing to New Orleans music, creating food or body tonics, writing for wellness magazines or doing down-ward dogs in the park with her grand-daughter Penelope.
Mollie was born in Dallas , Texas and began practicing yoga in high school . She graduated from Newcomb College of Tulane University with a degree in Art History and fell in love with her new home , New Orleans . She is the proud mother of her little ballerina and yogi , Lucie , born in 2004 . In 2011 she completed 350 hours of teacher training to become certified through Swan River Yoga . In 2012 she attended a Jivamukti immersion in Costa Rica led by Senior Yoga Teacher Yogeswari and Advanced Certified Yoga Teacher Rima Rabbath. In 2016 she spent a week at a yoga retreat in Thailand. Her love of dance , music and life is apparent in her vinyasa flow style of teaching set to music and infused with a positive dharma message. She is deeply influenced and forever grateful to her teachers Michele Baker , Keith Porteous , JackSun Slaughter, Libby Love , Rima Rabbath and Yogeswari .
